Pick of the Week: Tagliaferri’s Italian Delicatessen and Cafe

Tagliaferri's Italian Delicatessen and CafeIf you’ve got a craving for authentic Italian food, be sure to stop by Tagliaferri’s Italian Delicatessen at 1701 Grant Avenue in Novato (formerly Pete’s Coffee). Family-owned and operated “Tags”, as it is affectionately nicknamed, has been a local staple for Italian specialty foods, cured meats, and homemade pasta for the past seventeen years.

Father/son owners Al and Brian Tagliaferri have created a traditional, New York-style deli where patrons can order hand-made custom sandwiches and hot paninis at the counter, or take home ravioli, lasagna, and cannoli prepared from scratch using family recipes from the Old Country. Cooks will also enjoy shopping their selection of fine imported Italian pastas, wine, olive oil, polenta, sweets and much more!

Planning a gathering at your home or office? Tagliaferri’s Italian Delicatessen can cater your special event. Order traditional meat & cheese trays, specialty sausage rolls, lavoshe platters, or custom sandwiches by the foot to feed your hungry crowd with ease.

Coming this summer: customers will be able to pre-order sandwiches online or via text message. For more information or to place an order, visit Tagliaferri’s website or call 415-897-9677.
