I’m a licensed psychologist whose been working with adults for over 25 years. I teach tools and techniques for reducing symptoms and for changing problem behaviors. I also help couples improve their relationships. My specialty is treating all kinds of anxiety problems. If you suffer from panic, fears, excessive worrying, shyness, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or hoarding, I can help you. Sessions will involve a lot of active give-and-take. I use evidence-based (CBT) methods which have proven to be highly effective. Expect to get “homework” between appointments. Don’t be surprised to see improvement within a few weeks.
I’ll leave the office to help you. For example, I’ll go to the mall with you if you’re afraid to do so, or get in the car with you if you have a driving phobia. Practicing in the real-world is the essential key to overcoming fears.
