Michelle Mahoney started teeny cake in 2009 while searching for the perfect vanilla cupcake. Since then, she’s continued her quest to create flavor combinations from the finest ingredients available, reconstructing comforting childhood sweet into modern classics.
Quality ingredients equal a quality product, and teeny cake uses organic and local ingredients when possible, though they’ve been known to pay homage to their Southern roots, and aren’t afraid of a little (make that alot!) butter, a candy bar, or even some bacon. Playing with flavors and making you happy are top priorities for teeny cake, and they hope that you enjoy the ride through their culinary cupcake journey.
Named to “Best of” lists, including Red Tricycle’s 2013 Winner in the category of Best Cupcake, Bakery & Sweet Shop, CBS Local’s Best Cupcakes in San Francisco, and Finalist in the Guardian’s Best of Bay competition, teeny cake is quickly becoming a fan favorite.
