Beauty Heroes Opens Flagship Store on Grant Avenue, Novato

Grant Avenue is about to get an exciting new beauty spot with the opening of Beauty Heroes on August 25th, 2019. Beauty Heroes is a popular online beauty store and monthly discovery subscription service with a focus on clean and healthy beauty. This will be the first brick and mortar store for the company, which was founded five years ago by Jeannie Jarnot. From clean skincare to organic makeup to sustainable fashion, Beauty Heroes’ mission is to create a service that helps people discover truly healthy beauty in a more conscious and intentional way.

Founder Jeannie and the Beauty Heroes team are just that— beauty heroes. Standing in opposition to a beauty industry littered with chemically altered and environmentally harmful products, Jarnot is leading the way to a healthier, cleaner and more accountable future. The company is known for having some of the strictest ingredient standards in the industry, avoiding products that use harsh chemicals, strong allergens or neurotoxins.

Jarnot only works with sustainable beauty companies, carefully selecting products she deems “best in class” through her inspired curation process. Members of the Beauty Heroes’ monthly discovery service receive one full-size hero product, along with an additional deluxe sized sample she calls the sidekick.

Jeannie never intended to open a brick and mortar store until she fell in love with the space at 817 Grant Ave., formerly occupied by the Morris & Co. gift store. Jarnot says of opening the flagship store in Novato: “I’ve lived in Novato since 2003 and I knew if Beauty Heroes had a store, it would be here. The idea is for the store to take what we do online and bring it to life.” The Beauty Heroes warehouse is located just around the corner, off Olive Ave.

The Beauty Heroes team is planning a grand opening event for the Fall, along with a series of other exciting events! Expect to see some of the beauty companies that sell products with Beauty Heroes, like Aether Beauty or Ayuna, hosting discussions, samplings and workshops at the store. Kevin Dooley, Beauty Heroes’ director of marketing, says that beauty fans can expect an in-store event two to four times a month. “It’s a play space. It’s really a place to come in and discover products in a very interactive and educational way.”

Subscribe to Beauty Heroes to receive a monthly Beauty Heroes box carefully curated by Jeannie Jarnot herself, and receive the very special benefit of 15% off, online and in-store. And be sure to stop by the new store on August 25th!
