Comedy don’t have to head over the Golden Gate Bridge to enjoy high-quality stand up comedy. Novato’s Trek Winery is home to a monthly comedy night, which is good news for anyone who enjoys sampling some local vino and catching some top-shelf entertainment right here in the North Bay.
Over the last few months, promoter Jon Arnett has booked a great blend of established comedians to appear at the Winery, including Marin’s own Mark Pitta, Reno 911 star Carlos Alazraqui, Dave Burleigh from America’s Got Talent and Wendy Liebman, who has performed on a roll call of Late Night shows, from Johnny Carson to Craig Ferguson. The monthly schedule allows Jon to program a quality line-up of comedians, making the shows something Novato comedy fans can look forward to. The occasional “showcase” show gives up and coming talent a chance to shine, while the regular shows often include a seasoned special-guest comic to MC the evening and ensure guests have a “big night out” comedy experience.

Steve Barkley (HBO, Showtime and other credits) appears on August 19th, while Steve Hytner, (a.k.a Kenny Bania on Seinfeld, with TV credits too long to list here) is scheduled to appear on November 4th.
