Discover fresh pisco sours and Peruvian cuisine at Ayawaska Hilltop

Ayawaska Hilltop, home to fresh authentic Peruvian cuisine with a modern twist, recently opened its doors in Novato. This marks the restaurant’s second location, joining the first Ayawaska in Petaluma.

Located on 850 Lamont Avenue, this spot has been a landmark in Novato since 1892 and is designed to deliver an open airy ambience with large doors, and a show-stopping panoramic view of Novato.

Ayawaska’s mission is to provide a world class dining experience, exploring the rich and vibrant tastes of Peru.

Peruvian cuisine has absorbed influences from European, African, and Asian cultures over the past few hundred years. The result? Fusion cuisine that reflects the nation’s multicultural history.

The extensive menu offers an array of fresh options, featuring several types of ceviche, in addition to quinoa, empanadas, and beef dishes, with savory and spicy flavors sprinkled throughout each dish.

Their team of mixologists have crafted a world class cocktail menu, featuring a number of cocktails made with pisco, the well-known brandy of Peru and often topped with egg whites, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice, served over ice. They also feature a number of island tonics made with rum, mezcal and gin, along with a stocked wine cellar featuring various wines from all over the globe.

Come out and experience the tastes of Peruvian cuisine while enjoying the best view of Novato. Ayawaska is open Friday Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
