On Saturday, October 27 Marin County will be taking part in Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This national event was started by the Drug Enforcement Agency in 2016 to provide a safe, convenient and responsible outlet for disposing of expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs. By getting rid of these unused prescriptions, you help guarantee that they do not find their way into unsuitable or unsafe hands.
This Saturday from 10am-2pm, there are nearly 6,000 locations participating nationally, with two participating locations here in Novato:
Novato Police Department – 909 Machin Ave, Novato, CA 94945
Novato Fire Station – 5 Bolling Dr, Novato, CA 94949
