Owner Sharon Ebner and Co-owner/General Manager, Javier Sanchez, bought Tommy’s in 2015. The couple had experience managing restaurants and were ready to have a place of their own. Sanchez grew up cooking Mexican dishes in the kitchen with his mom, so Tommy’s fit the bill. Keeping things in the family, his mom’s cooking inspired several dishes you’ll find on Tommy’s menu today.
Diving into the dishes, the beloved Baja-style fish tacos are made with two corn tortillas, crispy fish filet, chopped cabbage, shredded cheese, salsa fresca and cream. Handmade chips made two to three times a day are great additions to the tacos, and perfect for dipping into Tommy’s fresh guacamole.
Vegetarian or Vegan? Not a problem. You’ll find several options on their menu, like the veggie burrito, California veggie quesadilla, and the veggie bowl. Gluten-free tortillas are available for burritos and quesadillas.
Make sure to stop in on the weekends for a full breakfast menu. Tommy’s serves eggs, fluffy pancakes, various scrambles, huevos rancheros, and an array of breakfast burritos.
