The Downtown Novato Community Farmers’ Market is making a grand return to the heart of downtown for the much-anticipated 2024 season! Get excited for fresh produce sourced from local farmers, prepared foods perfect to enjoy at the market or on-the-go, unique artisan booths, and engaging activities for the little ones.
Mark your calendars for the Downtown Novato Community Farmers’ Market every Tuesday, from May 7th to October 29th, as the market springs to life from 4pm to 8pm. The new location on Sherman Avenue, nestled between Grant Avenue and De Long Avenue, places the market right in front of our beloved City Hall, adding an extra touch of Novato charm to your shopping experience.
The City will be kicking off the season in style with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on opening day, May 7th, at 4pm.
Planning your trip to the Downtown Novato Community Farmers’ Market couldn’t be easier. Whether you prefer to walk, bike, drive, or take public transit, we’ve got you covered! Explore the City’s handy parking map to find the perfect spot for your visit, with ample options conveniently situated near the market.
For those opting for public transit, the new location on Sherman Avenue is positioned between the Novato Downtown SMART Station and the Redwood Boulevard & Grant Avenue Transit Station, making access a breeze.
Bikers will find designated bike racks conveniently located near the market on Sherman Avenue at Cain Lane and in the City Administrative Offices Parking Lot.
For those who prefer to drive, there is ample public parking, with spaces available on the streets surrounding Sherman Avenue and in nearby lots, including the Depot Lot at the Novato Downtown SMART Station, Whole Foods Garage (Floor 2), and the City Administrative Offices Lots at 922 Machin Avenue and Cain Lane (underground lot after 5pm only).
Please note, Farmers’ Market vendors have exclusive parking privileges in the Zenk Lot between Sherman and Reichert Avenues from 2pm to 10pm.
