Fans of stylish savings will be excited to hear that a new Nordstrom Rack is set to open at Novato’s Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in the spring of 2017. Nordstrom is a familiar name to Marin shoppers, with a “full line” store at the Village in Corte Madera. Novato’s Nordstrom Rack will be the first Rack in Marin, offering an “off price” retail experience, with a wide selection of clothes, accessories and shoes.
Nordstrom describes the Rack as “designed to provide the ultimate treasure hunt to style-savvy customers” and it’s certain to offer fun and fashionable discoveries for Novato shoppers. While Shop Local often highlights our many smaller Novato businesses, it’s important to recognize the contribution to our local economy that all our retailers and businesses make. The addition of Nordstrom Rack gives Novato shoppers on more local option, and should attract savvy shoppers from neighboring areas too.
Vintage Oaks is already home to a broad range of shopping experiences, from Target, Old Navy and Costco to outlet shopping at Eddie Bauer and shoe bargains galore at DSW. Dining options include cult favorite In N’ Out Burger, and Novato’s home for live music lovers, the HopMonk Tavern.
Nordstrom Rack is set to take over the old Sports Authority location at Vintage Oaks.
